Description

Leheriya — the diagonal resist-dye stripe Rajasthan has worked for centuries — drawn in deep green and yellow across airy chiffon. The border is scalloped and embroidered in white thread, with small figures picked out along the edge. The stripe is dyed by rolling and tying the length before it ever meets colour.
